Pitched roofing

Lead roofing is a traditional covering for a pitched roof. It is often used on churches and cathedrals because it can last for hundreds of years with absolutely no maintenance.

It is also used on newer buildings instead of slate and can be done in a way that gives a contemporary look to in keeping with modern designs.

Trevalga, Boscastle

This simple roof required code 7 lead to allow for the length of the sections to have a regular and symmetrical layout. The roof pitch was steep enough to overlap the sections instead of using a stepped detail.

St Benet's Tower

This 15th Century tower was part of a Benedictine Monastery founded in 1411, but had been derelict for decades. The roof was being replaced, and needed some vertical cladding as part of the upper room.
