Lead has been know to last over 500 years and has been used for over 2000 years. With unrivalled longevity and beauty, it’s no wonder it has remained a popular choice of roofing material for both historic and domestic properties.

If fitted correctly, it is expected that leadwork will last easily 150 years. Because of its malleability, it can easily be worked into the contours and shapes of contemporary buildings, and the uneven and elaborate designs of prestigious and historic buildings. This leaves you with a roof that will not only last for many generations, but can be a beautiful attribution to a building and prominent feature.

Flat Roofing

Sometimes a flat roof can be the only way achieve the required shape of a functional roof section. The material for the job is often a difficult decision to make. Especially with an increasing amount of cheaper man-made alternatives.

Pitched roofing

Lead roofing is a traditional covering for a pitched roof. It is often used on churches and cathedrals because it can last for hundreds of years with absolutely no maintenance. It is also used on newer buildings instead of slate and can be done in a way that gives a contemporary look to in keeping with modern designs.
