Decorative Casting
Lead was first found to have been used in 3800BC, and for millennia has continued to be crafted into all sorts of applications. Lead rainwater drainage systems became a prominent feature on prestigious buildings through history and remain an integral part of of listed and heritage buildings.
Lead also became the material of choice for ornamental uses too. Because of its low melting point and malleable properties it is possible to make almost any shape from it, from statues and urns, to lettered plaques and decorative planters.
